Empty promises from telkom

Bad customer service, I took data contract with telkom and I requested to keep my number because I had an existing prepaid number. I was advised to port my number after I've received a Sim card and wait for 72hours, nothing happened. I called back and I was told that I was not advised appropriately. I was supposed to call and make a request, they will resolve it and it will take 72hours, I would receive an sms saying my request has completed. Again 72hours later nothing has happened. They claimed they tried to call me, it has been a month and nothing has happened. I think it's better to cancel my contract and move to a network that will honor their promises, at least it's a monthly contract. I'm really not pleased with telkom and how I've been treated as a customer. I have called them enough and they are just playing games.
