Empty promises and lies from Telkom

<p>I did an application for telkom ADSL uncapped data on the 1st of August. Every day since I had to contact them as no one provided feedback regarding my order. I have spoken to so many people and then finally the 12th Aug a tech was dispatched, suppose to be at my residence in the morning already, it get to 14h00 and I called them and was then advised that i will have to wait as they cant tell me when they will be here. I was so upset as It took me 2weeks just to get telkom to see to my order. He eventually came and was here for 15mins and left. Advised he will be back the next day 13th Aug. The following day his phone was off and I contacted them again, spoke to 5 people and was promised a call back, nothing.. Today the 15th the technician msg's to say hey..im abit off. I call telkom and find out about what's happening and they then advised the technicians are on strike. I asked her how will they assist me since I work from home and i need the internet. Her reply was that no one can and there is nothing that can be done. I asked how will i pay my monthly installment if I can't work due to telkom not doing theirs. Her reply was telkom will then just disconnect your internet...DISGUSTING!!!! Telkom is absolutely unreliable and *************. I will be sure that this is known.</p>
