Early Debit order & Related Costs

Telkom debits me on the 25th of every month, however, this month they have decided to debit on the 23rd without even notifying me. This caused my debit order of R1068.00 to return as unpaid. I have been charged bank fees for the fail of this transaction. My salary only came in on the 24th of this month (one day too late for telkom's early debit order...) They have now gone and deducted R1,204.35 today from my bank account without notifying me. I want to know why the new amount they deducted is higher than my original invoice and why I was not called back after speaking to the call center agents the morning of the debit order failure. They have told me that I will get a call with details on how to handle this process.

This is disgusting service. Telkom seems to have charged me R136.35 for the failed debit order. This is absolute *******. I have had a failed debit order with Telkom before and they simply advised me how to do a manual payment and there were no extra costs. I will not rest until this amount is refunded to me. The explanation about running debit orders before a public holiday on the debit order date will not suffice. You need to notify your clients in these cases.

This is unacceptable. I will not be renewing my contract, the response is disgusting.
