Early debit order deduction

Telkom decided to debit my account a day earlier instead of later since the 25th fell on a Saturday. My salary pay date is and was only paid on the 25th. I have thus incurred bank charges. I've since cancelled my DO and opted to do EFTs since they've refused to reimburse the fees and they think its common sense to debit an account earlier, instead of the next working day should the DO day fall on a weekend.
