Dragging to approve Claim (2 Months and still waiting)

I have booked my phone in for repairs at Telkom on the 10th of February 2025, It turns Worldwide Advisory Services, is their insurance underwriter. It’s been two months and my phone is still waiting for insurance approval. I have been sent from Pillar to post I am exhausted. Telkom did not even advise that I have to contact WWAS to get approval and I had to find out when I went to the Telkom Cresta store to check progress after three weeks (they told me my phone will be ready at that time).

As a consumer when you take up insurance with your service provider your thinking at least the insurance company and the service provider have synchronised data. Now I am deal with two different companies independently from sending updated statements indicating that my account is up to date to chasing approvals.

This is a mess and very unfair that its taking 2 months for my claim to be approved.
