On the 27th of July, Telkom debited my account for the cellphone contract I have with them. On the 1st of August they debited the same amount again, 3 days later I called in to inquire why they double debit me and the answer I got from one of their agents was shocking as he told me that the amount doesn't reflect on their side. Then I went to the bank to reverse the debit order, and 5 days later my service was interrupted. Their reason was that I had a post due amount outstanding (I did not understand why because they already debited the amount on the 27th of the previous month). The agent advised me to go to a Telkom store and sort it out there because apparently she could not help me over the phone, so on Sunday the 21st of August I decided to go to a Telkom Store in Maponya Mall, where I waited for 45 minutes before being attended to by Nicki Jooste, who went to have her breakfast 1st before attending to the clients who were in the store and she also couldn't explain why my service was interrupted and couldn't help me resolve the issue and asked me to call in again and log a case. To cut a long story short, my service is still interrupted and no one has attended to my case or provided feed back. I have been calling in to find out but being sent from pillar to post all the time since Monday the 22nd of August until today. I have lost hope as I cannot use the service which I have paid for! I am disappointed and disgusted by Telkom and their poor service. Stay with your service provider and don't be fooled by their 'great deals'
