Dont use telkom. BAD service.

I would not recommend any one to use Telkom. I had to use them to get my adsl 2 years ago. As there were an telephone line in the yard. Then I had to replace the line at my own cost to get internet with mweb. Last year October 2019 I canceled my line rental contract. They emailed me to say it will take between 30-60 days to cancel the contract. They still took money for Oct Nov & December 2019 even though I did not use their services. January and February the still tried to take money on the debit order that I stopped with them and the bank. Then in May 2020 they got the Debt Collecters to get the money I "owed" them for Two months outstanding. I requested a statement to say what months I did not pay. That took a month to get. I then also had to give them all the Proof of payments etc. After numerous emails back and forth the two months they were referring to I owed was for January & February 2020. So it takes 5 months to cancel a contract with them. I blew them and the debt collectors of and told them that I will not pay as they actually owe me. They must take me too court if they want money. Now they have cleared my account they say. It's now 10 months later... Don't get a contract with them. You will regret it. And you can never get hold of them on a phone either.
