Dont trust Telkom and never take a huawei handset.

Telkom mobile in Woodlands Boulevard Pretoria, my wife renewed her telkom mobile contract yesterday. The sales consultant gave her a huawei not explaining that google play store is not supported on huawei and that she will need to use a 3rd party app store and unsigned unsecure APK files. I asked her to take the handset back. She arrived at the store with the brand new unused phone in its original packing and against the Consumer Protection Act they refused to take the phone back. This is *******. I have been calling for 3 hours between 081180 and 10213 being sent form the one to the other. The 081180 system is broken, gives random feedback. Basically the only person that was able to talk to me basically told me that because the contract was taken out in a store the handset cannot be taken back even though the salesman did not advise her of the issues with Huawei and google play store.
