Don't fall for Telkom's WiFi phone - It's a ****.

Telkom informed me that they will stop the copper cable phone service in my area. The phone was replaced with a WiFi phone - two weeks ago, and after lodging at least three complaints, I still have to make my first phone call. They never though about WiFi connectivity in my area (almost non-existent), the phone handset seems to be faulty - not sure 'cause I cannot phone. Meanwhile my complaints have been transferred to at least 4 different departments without the slightest attempt to resolve the matter. Telkom is in violation of the Consumer Protection Act and on top of that, I am now charging the company R 30,00 per day storage fee until my copper line is restored.
