Does it even help complain about Telkom's bad service?

Our neighbourhood was hit by lightning and my fixed line was damaged on 11/11/2016. I received a reference number after reporting the loss of my 2 Meg (Paying for a 10Meg) line. That is where the frustration started.

"Your fault is being attended to at our testing centre, our technical team are aware of the fault reported and is currently testing it and remotely rectifying the issues on the line. You will soon receive an SMS or a call regarding the updates. I have added some notes on the system that you have contacted us and need the line urgently. You are welcome to log a dispute with the billing dep for the period of no service once the line has been restored. I there anything else you need assistance with?"

I received this automated message eversince I started my communications with Telkom. It is the 29th today.... No feedback, no service and no assistance from these guys.

My wife is running her bussiness from home. My 3G data bill is huge and the infrastructure at home, which is also very expensive, cannot be used.

Please Telkom, tell me why does it take so lang to resolve the issues on the line?

Your technicians should perhaps lift their butts and fix the line and not try to do it remotely.

I cannot read all the remarks but does anybody actually compliment these jokers?

Hi there Yazied.

What happened to the SMS I received on 26/11: “Dear Customer, please be advised that your *** has been escalated to our Fault Scheduling team. Your fault will be assigned to the first available Technician. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused. Regards Telkom”? Stop apologising and fix the line. It will be 4 weeks that we are without our Telkom line, coming Friday. Next stop, Social media………. I’ll keep on escalating and complaining until my line is fixed.
