Do not want to replace 3 day old broken handset

<p>On the Wednesday 28 June 2017 I opened a new contract with Telkom at Cape Gate.</p> <p>I received my new iPhone 7 Plus, I also ported my number from Vodacom to Telkom.</p> <p> </p> <p>I did not use the phone at all as I was waiting for the porting to happen. Sunday evening I notice that there is a iPhone update. I ran the update and after the phone restarted it did not come back on again. It got stuck with the connect to ITunes.</p> <p> </p> <p>I did some research on the internet and found out that there were others also complaining about an 10.?? Update that is causing the phone not to restart.</p> <p> </p> <p>I went back to Telkom 04 July 2017 to complain about this. And they refused to replace the phone. They want to send it way for repairs. This will take anything from 2 to 3 weeks. I even had the lady from the Apple store coming with me to the Store to explain to them this is a brand new handset. But Dien Abrahams just refused to assist me.</p> <p> </p> <p>But if I’m not mistaken I have the right to get a replacement if there is a problem within 7 days. Apparently I signed a document which state that they do not offer a OBF policy. NOW WHAT IS A OBF Policy??????????? And Why wasn’t this term explained to me before I signed anything.</p> <p> </p> <p>O and to make matters worse while typing this document I received my Statement and it is Double because Telkom do not do “prorate device subscriptions”. Again why was this explained. I would like Agent coerecgw to explain himself to me.</p>
