DO NOT USE TELKOM INSURANCE!!!!!!

My iphone screen cracked, decided to booked it in at telkom since i pay the insurance every month. Handed it in on 29/11/2019, waited exactly 2 months for them to repair it, only got it back on 29/01/2020. Now the phones camera doesnt work, earphone jack, keeps switching off.... Sent numerous email to the people who assisted with the claim - 2 days later, no response. Send a mail to the complaints department - still no response!!! Ive had to resort to sending mails as they simply do not answer their phones.

Eventually managed to get through on the land lines - the lady's response" sorry sir not much more we can do since you've had the phone for 7 days, you'll have to book it in and pay the excess again."

Besides that, i did my research, an iphone 6 screen replacement only costs R1099.00, i had to pay R1506.00 excess.

So basically do not use Telkom/Finrite insurance!!!! absolutely terrible !!!!
