DO NOT take up a contract with Telkom

I have requested to cancel my contract because my term contract term has expired. Telkom agent are harrassing me calling me daily so that I can upgrade and I actually DO NOT WANT TO UPGRADE. I WANT TO CANCEL. I made my cancellation request, and I was told my cancellation will be done ref #: ***3 and someone will call me. No one called me to confirm my request instead, they send me an sms saying Fault Reference ***3 has been closed and contract still not cancelled.
