DO NOT SWITCH FROM VODACOM/MTN TO TELKOM!

Trust me, you will regret it....

I highly recommend you never enter a phone contract with Telkom. They will only be good to you during the transaction thereafter you are on your own.

I took my phone in for repairs after paying insurance for months... They partnered with Finrite (do yourself a favour and check them out on HelloPeter, why would they decide to partner with people like that is beyond me). Needless to say the excess for a screen damage repair is ridiculous. The lady on the line laughed when I asked her if she doesn't think this is day light *******. So you pay premiums every month but regardless of anything a screen repair will cost 20% of the value of your phone. So what's the point of insurance then??? That is litreally the same cost as repairing it anywhere else. If you have a high end phone expect to pay.

There's no point in complaining, Telkom and Finrite do not care about you. I left Vodacom for a cheaper deal at Telkom. Trust me cheap is very very expensive at Telkom. DO NOT SWITCH FROM YOUR NETWORK TO TELKOM.
