DO NOT PORT FROM VODACOM to TELKOM

It is now exactly 8 days since I have a app**** for a number porting to take place. This after I have struggled to do a simple upgrade of a current contract for 5 days. Telkom has great contracts but do not think you will get a device soon. If you go to a branch they will tell you we are trying to phone other stores as we cannot get from main supply. So is it worth it. I've been at Vodacom and never, never had this issue of waiting. What a mistake I have made to port. I have two other phones but will not port to Telkom.<br> Telkom should stop wasting money on sponsorship and rather look at the staffing of branches and warehouses otherwise they will close and be like the Post Office. Telkom reduced staff and they will now loose business. I saw 10 people entering a Telkom branch and no one smiled, all complaint.<br> Staff is working under bad circumstances and Top management sits in nice offices no help..<br> I really hope somebody takes this serious and first sort out my device availability and secondly somebody from Top Management need to rethink the strategy as you are on the wrong track.<br> Please can I get my device sorted ASAP..as I'm thinking of cancelling everything and go back to Vodacom
