Do not join Telkom. It's impossible to cancel your service.

I have been battling since January 2018 to cancel my adsl service. I called the telkom call centre in January to cancel the adsl service. I was told that they dont do cancellations over the phone. I was advised to send an email to ********** which I did. I also sent an email to ********** The only response I received was a automated message sent by their email server stating that my request has been received. I gave it more than a month but nothing was cancelled. I called again and was advised to email which I did again but nothing has been done. I also went into a telkom branch to see if they can help me, and they couldn't. Apparently cancellations can only be done via email. I have emailed numerous times since January and have called the call centre a few times as well. Today i tried to email them again and now i receive a automated email back stating that my email was unable to be delivered. It seems impossible to get this line cancelled. And while i am battling to cancel my adsl, they are sending me bills every month. I dont recommed that anyone join telkom. Rather go through another ISP. Avoid telkom completely if you can. They have absolutely zero customer service. They are quick to take your money but If anything goes wrong and you need their help then nobody can help you.
