Do not get a Telkom contract

I got Fiber installed in my area and used Telkom as a service provider, what a mistake. They had tents in our street handing out flyers and promising 2 week connections. The deal was 20Mb line for R807 p/m no extra costs. It took about 2 months since i signed the contract to get it on line, then all the bills came, my first bill was just over R5000, i tried to make sense of it but couldn't, there were just too many charges, then i started phoning the call center which is so *********** in their jobs its unreal, so i went into store just to get turned away saying the Telkom stores does not handle billing queries. To make a long story short, i'm being charged for a router, connection and something else, on top of that(this part seems to be sorted now after 10 phone calls a day for months!!!) i'm was charged R1007 p/m the normal rate with a line speed charge of about R700. So R1700 p/m instead of the R807. Then the call center advised me to just pay the R807 every month while they sort it out. After 4 months of trying to fix this my paper bill is on R3999 of which I still owe R807 so we are still about R3200 appart, then yesterday i got a sms saying i owe R7329.81 and if i don't pay i'm getting suspended. now that is almost a years fee's, after i payed the first months already. My complaint numbers are ********** 2 & ********** that Telkom say they can't fix, a supervisor must do this and they gave me this mail address ********** but i don't get any feedback from this person. The guy that sold the package to me is PJ ********** 259, i don't get any feedback from him. Now i have to try and settle what ever Telkom Demand and then i will have to change to a different provider. If you do consider a fiber line, please don't use Telkom, its a nightmare. my neighbors all have different providers and there is a snag here and there but it get sorted on the spot. Telkom might as well close their customer care line and their Telkom shops because their are of no use. By the way, minimum waiting time in line in a Telkom shop is 1 hour, so is holding and waiting for someone in the call center.
