I am writing to dispute the sms claims from NuDebt's Notice of Judgement:Mr/s, pay your Telkom acc arrears R558.00 because I am "in contravention of Electronics Communications Act 36 of 2005, due to R558.00 default with Telkom *** Tel ***? + I need to pay R558.00 within 24 hours to Telkom acc @ABSA into NuDebt Acc *** *** Tel ***

Please listen to the recording from Telkom Rewardsco. com agent who called me from +***2 on 30 July 2025 at 16:14. where she told me that I was due for a cellphone upgrade but they don't have cellphones in stock, she is offeringme airtime and data. I asked her more than twice that I do not want the two contracts to overlap as I can't afford to pay for two contracts as the same time. I told her I was patiently waiting for the old contract to come to an end and stop debiting my account before I apply for the new contract. Please listen to her sales pitch call when she was assuring me that the last payment date for the old contract is 31 July 2025, so the new contract will start debiting my bank on 30 August 2025. Please explain to me why must I pay R558.00 when I agreed on a R130 contract?

Telkom is hanging up their calls as soon as I stated my account number.

I trust that NuDebt and Telkom will resolve this matter promptly, before I escalate it to Social Media and Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) please.
