Dishonesty and bad client service

I bought a phone on contract last year November,this year around march/April the camera stopped working and i took the phone to the shop so that it can be booked for repairs as it is still under warranty,my phone came back the same without being fixed,I then asked the consultant to rebook it.few days later i then received an sms stating that my device is deemed out of warranty therefore I need to pay the quoted amount for repairs,how is software problem a customer’s fault?till to date I still have not received my phone
