Disgusting Telkom service!

Hi. So my phone recently got lost, I tried to call your contact center so that they can block the simcard. To my surprise my simcard was registered in someone else's name (you cannot buy a simcard without it being RICAd, so I don't know how that happened, care to explain? ) I was then told that I need to go to the police station and get an affidavit stating that indeed the simcard belongs to me and then go to a telkom branch just so I can block a simcard? Tiresome really! (what was the point of RICA then?) The plot twist though is that I tried to call my simcard, lo and behold it was ringing! So is it safe to blame Telkom if there are security issues? Bank cards and stuff are linked to my phone number but you couldn't block because of your own incompetence? Absolutely shocking!
