Disgusting telkom

Hi there,

My partner took out a contract with telkom for wifi, everything went well until the Fibre lines were installed in the area. We complaint and were advised that a new router is needed, called many times but nobody even made effort to come out and install a new router. Eventually we got fed up and decided to cancel the telkom contract, cancelled and they took the last debit order and advised that the contract is cancelled. The next day they put the wifi off which we were ok with. They then called and sent another invoice stating that a R700 is owed, we were furious but we just paid it anyways so that we don't have to deal with them again and also because we don't want the credit score affected by this. That was last year July, it's now February 2022 and yet they handed us over to debt collectors stating we owe R3000! It's so ridiculous and disgusting how they try and ******* a person! Where we made sure that we paid the invoice amount that was sent and we received an sms aswell stating that the contract is settled!

I'm so fed up with telkom and I would recommend nobody to them!
