DIsgusted with TELKOM Service
I am so disgusted with Telkom. I have been a customer for many years.
As everyone knows there is no normal telephones anymore. You have to belong to a company that supplies WiFi or Fibre. Well Telkom with all the billions they make can't even put up Fibre which is a lower cost, especially for SASSA old age pensioners.
SECONDLY, you have to sign a contract which is legal and binding. After years, they just add on extra nonsense charges. I don't have a car and live on a plot. I live quite far from their offices. I had to go into their offices at a cost of R200 petrol for a lift, to sort out these nonsense charges.
AND NOW, THIRDLY, I have been without WIFI for 5 days. It cost me an extra R200 to go to their offices to complain about no signal on Wednesday 15th of October after not having signal for 2 days. That is from Monday the 13th. And of course being in their offices my signal was back. Just to get home and find out it was still off. So another R200 later to go back in to report it was off and get the lady to call the faults department. It came o for 20 minutes on Thursday and went off again. It is now Friday, the 17th and still no signal. It has cost me another R310 to get another card. A total of R900 off my measly pension.
Can Telkom please wake up and fix the fault properly. I have no money for food. I am 65 years old. If I fall, which I have done twice recently, how do I call anyone without signal. I tried calling the faults department with the new card I had to buy and pay astronomical charges.
TELKOM PLEAsE FIX YOUR FAULTS IN BLIGNAUTSRUS, WALKERVILLE. I am sure they have had other calls.
What do you do in this country, with BEEE employment only, to get some service.
If anyone at Telkom is actually doing some work today, can someone please report the Fault AGAIN, and call me on ***.
