Disgusted with Telkom Customer Service

My Case No CASE NO: *** with Telkom Business Mobile.

With Regards to the above case number, this is my query.

In January2022,I did an upgrade against my Business contract number, which was still within the cooling off period. It was for an Oppo A74 Dual Sim.

However when the Device arrived it was a Single sim and the agent Thobeka (***) arranged for the Device to be uplifted and a New Device be delivered in 48 hours, However when the Second Device arrived it was still a Single Sim and Not a Dual Sim, I emailed her again and asked if this cannot be rectified, then she should Cancel the upgrade, However Thobeka was on Leave and Ronel (***) contacted me after I emailed her and promised to correct the Order and had the second device upilfted (Copies of Waybills as proof send to them) and a New Device once again was sent to me, (AI no. AI***), this time the Device was Finally a Dual Sim.

Then in February 2022 I was billed correctly according to my Subscription of R379.00 and my bill was credit and on a Zero balance as of 28th February 2022, After my Debit Order went through. Then when I received my March 2022 Bill, I noticed I am being charged some Miscellaneous Charge of R6720.00 for Device Obligation / Carryover Fee.

Why am I being charged this fee if everything on my side was done correctly, this seems to be an error on the Telkom side, which needs to be corrected by Thobeka/ Ronel or someone in Higher authority. However I have not been getting any response from them with Regards to this Issue. The Case was reported on the 07/03/22 and since No Joy resolving the issue, every time I phone they say its under investigation and will be sorted with 72 hours, and No one ever gets back to me and the charges are still showing against my account. Thobeka last informed me by email and advised that The"Processor" is the only one that can remove these charges and was suppose to do so when the device went out, which was in February 2022.

My next Debit went off yesterday the 31st of March 2022, and I did not have an exuberant amount of R6720 in my account to pay for something that's not mine to pay for,and my Debit was rejected and now I am being charged bank fess and I'm sure Next month Telkom will charge me more penalty charges. All I had was my initial subscription amount which I signed for against my upgrade of 379.00, which I transferred directly to Telkom this Morning.

What happens in the mean time as its already a month since anyone has tried to resolve this issue, does my account go in arrears and will my account be suspended, as this is a business number and this will be a loss to my business.

I reported this Issue on the 07/03/22 and still have not had any feedback, yet I was told it takes 72 hours, everytime I call I'm told it's under investigation, in the meantime what happens to my account. Does Telkom Not take their customers seriously ? A customers query should be given urgent attention, to make sure that they will always come back to them. This whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth and I would never take a Telkom contract again or refer them to anyone.

It seems like someone committed some ***** on Telkom side and now I am been made liable to fit the bill. Very disappointed and disgusted, yet they have copies of the waybills, showing devices were uplited on my side.

How do I go about resolving this matter, or directing it to someone in higher authority who can solve this issue.

Regards Sharon ***
