Disgusted and frustrated with Telkom!!

Im so frustrated and disgusted with telkom. I live in Pietermaritzburg and my internet connection keeps going on and off. Initially i thought it was an issue with my phone, only to realise my mum whos also Telkom on my advice, is experiencing the same issue.

It loses network for hours and internet connection comes back for few hours and goes again for double the hours. Its so frustrating and i havent received any communication from Telkom as to any network down notice or anything of the sort. I tried calling Telkom on their 188/180 number, i waited for an assistant for 10 minutes (no exaggeration) listening to their adverts and music that makes Telkom sound so rosy.... Only till i got fed up and cut the call. I still canot get through to any help desk assistant. Whats the point of having a call centre if you can never get through to it?? Pathetic customer service and I will never advise anyone to use Telkom ever again!! I'll have endless issues canceling my contract which is almost over so I cant wait till its over so i can move on from this #*#*!
