************** and ********* Business Practices towards loyal customers

I put in an online application to upgrade my current package at around 1:20 am on Black Friday for the Huawei P smart on Freeme 1GB,the deal specified that the first 200 customers would receive a watch.I received an that my upgrade applications had been preapproved but no one contacted me for my upgrade. I was only contacted for my new contract. When I called the call centre they told me that they can not find my application. I have the confirmation sms aswell as the email.I think its unfair if I not count as one of the 200 customers. Today, the 26th November I was contacted by Telkom with regards to my upgrades. I was informed that I do not qualify for the watch. I later found out that upgrades were not eligible for the watch. Bear in mind that the 2 contracts that are up for upgrade have already completed the 24 months contract and I am free to move to another network. Why does Telkom treat me different from a new customer, I have nothing to gain by upgrading now since my 24 month contract is over so basically I should be treated as a new customer instead Telkom is "punishing "me as well as discriminating me for being a loyal customer. I have lost faith in Telkom and am considering changing to another network. Furthermore with the online application there were 2 icons with the PSmart deal, one was with a watch and the other was not . If upgrades were not eligible for the device, the deal with the watch should of never had a tab for upgrades as this was misleading and false advertising and not inline with fair business practice. I currently have 3 contracts with Telkom and one more that I had taken on Black Friday. I am totally shocked at the way they treat their good, paying customers. I even emailed ********** on Friday at 12:00pm to follow up but no reply. Telkom does not value us at all. Please think twice before doing business with Telkom because if they can treat their existing customers so badly then you can only imagine how they will treat new customers.
