Disconnected my business line

On Friday 14-10-2016 my business line went dead. When I called my number it said "The number does not exist". I logged a fault online 377CNK171016 and Telkom could only get a tech to look at it on Monday due to staff shortage. On Monday morning I received a call and the techs conclusion was that I requested for my number to be ported and Telkom has already released the line. I did request a company to port my number over to them as I was installing Fibre in my business. They assured me that it will take about 21 days for the port request to go through and once they receive a password from Telkom they will process the port. I am fami**** with this process as it is a similar process in the cellular industry which I have 16 years experience in.

I called 10217 more than 8 times. I have spoken to Steven and he put me through to another department where, after explaining my situation the consultant cuts the call. I then spoke to Lunga, Ronald, Njabulo, Victor and a few more whose names I did not take down. I was once put through to New Services and spoke to Ayanda who eventually transferred me but the call got cut yet again

I asked for the original fault with reference number be opened again but it was still not resolved. I then logged another fault 591CNK181016 and still not resolved with no feedback.

Some of the consultants say that Telkom still has the line and it should be working while the others are saying that it has been released and the number porting has gone through. If the number porting has gone through how was it processed without being verified by password with the new service provider?

*** service from Telkom as usual!
