Disappointed with Telkom service

Sunday on the 27th of may 2021, I went to the nearest telkom branch woodlands malls to apply for a contract phone. I provided them with the details as well as the documents they wanted and they said they will call me in 2-3 days to collect my phone. I have two numbers but I gave them one of my cell phone numbers to contact me. Today received call from one of the number that I didnt give them to contact me and the person who called said that someone is trying to apply with my ID, I got scared thinking it might be ******** I hanged up. Then I went to telkom to ask them if they do use personal numbers to call their customers which they said no they use landline. After 30 minutes I got a call from the manager saying that my application was decline because I didnt answer the call and they even called my employer but he was not answering. I told her my side of the story but she took the guys side and said they are working from home I should have answered. The guy was very rude when he called me and he didnt even introduce himself to him and why is he was calling. That's not the right way to approach your customers. After I have provided all the documentation,they have the nerve to call me and say someone tries to apply with your ID and it looks suspicious. Iam so disappointed with telkom.
