Disappointed with Telkom router

My mobile wifi router is just 6 months old and already the battery is faulty!! Charged it for 3 hours but it dies every minute. Unacceptable as I rely on this for my daily wor**** So disappointed because I'm locked into a 24 month contract. How will they assist?????
