DISAPPOINTED ... TO SAY THE LEAST

We have been to the local Telkom store on the 2nd December 2016 where Seetha, the consultant, advised that she would attend to the cancellation of my Late grandfather's Telkom account. I have made several calls to Telkom , to which none where answered. The last call i made to Telkom was on the 30th December 2016 where Madiale Mahlangu confirmed that no docs where received to attend to the cancellation of the account. I then re-emailed all the necessary documents so that the account can be cancelled asap. TO DATE NO CANCELLATION HAS BEEN DONE.

I received a call today from a very rude Telkom consultant enquiring why the account is not being paid as it is currently in arrears. The consultant was advised that my grandfather - the accountholder is deceased and there is no source of income in that home to make provision for the telkom account. Furthermore I do not believe that I am responsible the account as I am not the accountholder, The consultant then advised that the documents where not received by Telkom.

I am disappointed to say the least, as my late grandfather was a man was character and never once allowed any of his accounts to fall into arrears. In some cases he would even pay his account well in advance as telkom had always sent their statement late to our door, whilst in other cases he would pay them more than the amounts due.

I need this matter settled as a matter of urgency as it is long overdue now and the fault is clearly on Telkom's side as I have all the proof of sending that the documents has been emailed twice to them.

Telkom SP is really a very unhelpful service provider and their way of attending to queriers really needs to tighten up!!!
