Diffyculty with cancellations

I cannot get my telkom contracts cancelled as the operators insist I do it online. Online they ask me to upload my id copy and I do not have access to place where I can scan id copy. In the passed other networks helped me telephonically to cancel and I took out the contract telephonically so why cant I cancel via telephone
