Did you ever try to cancel your landline with Telkom?

I used to have Telkom combined with Afrihost to have internet access plus a landline. When my landline failed completely and I could not receive or make any calls. I requested a technician and he could not find a fault but agreed that the line was dead I cancelled the Telkom landline on May 10 2023. I sent several e-mails to ask for confirmation of my cancellation but never received a response. However, they kept on billing me and every time I rep**** why I was no longer paying. Afrihost was no great help although they did try. Today I tried to phone and was sent to different numbers with different options, nobody agreed that they could solve my problem. Telkom has now 'handed me over' and threatened me. I really don't see why I should continue paying for a service I have not had for many months.
