Device Obligation / carryover of R1350

I called Telkom on the 9 November 2023 to check if my phone account is ending when and the consultant told that my contract ended on the 2 nd of November 2023 I told her I am not continuing with the contract to end it and transfer my 40 gig contract to my phone contact and updated it to 80 gig she did that but not the bill came with a Device obligation / carry over of R1352 and my contract is supposed to be R300 per month now is R1650, I didn't take another phone , where will I get the money and what is it that I am paying for that I don't have Telkom i have been loyal to it since 2015 but they have failed me...which obligation device i am paying for.. i need my mobile Telkom please
