Device not working NEVER take a contract with TELKOM

Worse company ever to do business with. DO NOT DO CONTRACT WITH TELKOM!!.

bought a device in October,never used the device, just opened the box, took a picture, admired the phone and put it back into the box. 5TH of April open the box and all of a sudden the phone has a pin that I NEVER created and the Sim card apparently was NEVER active. Called the Telkom online but kept on going in circles, went to the branch and the branch says they cant help me. So now I have a phone that I'm paying for every month and can't use. I'm the being told to go to vodacom and they will unlock the phone. Asked why Vodacom when I bought the phone with Telkom I'm told Telkom doesn't have technicians they work with Vodacom.

Went to vodacom and vodacom is saying the will charge R250 to fix the phone yet the phone is still under warranty.

So guys Goodluck with your contracts. I'm paying for a phone I'm not using and Telkom is not doing anything about it and when you want to cancel the contract they are saying they will not reimburse me.
