My device is insured for R20,000, but its retail value is R10,000. When I made a claim, I was required to pay an excess based on the insured value. One of the consultants, John, assured me that I would receive a device in line with the insured value. However, today I was informed that I would only receive a device worth R10,000, not the insured value. I called their contact center and was put on hold for over 24 minutes before I eventually hung up.
