Delay in reactivating suspended cell phone account

I have had my account with Telkom mobile for nearly 2 years without defaulting once on the account. An unfortunate turn of circumstances caused me to default once towards the end of my cell contract (February 2015 being my last contract month). Apparently I am a high value customer however I do not feel as if I am treated as a high value customer. I am seriously considering taking another cell-phone with another Telco. My cell-phone was suspended because of non payment last month, however amounts for R1500 went off my account on the on the 15th of Jan. Another amount for R3000 went off today 25th of January 2015. I called the call centre and they have indicated that the suspension will only be lifted 2 weeks from today because it will only reflect on their system 2 weeks from now. I however have proof that the debit order went through my account. I can actually get a new phone 2 days from today with another Telco and at least have a phone by Wednesday. It really does not make sense to me. I even requested to escalate it but was refused the opportunity. I see this route as the only way of escalating this.
