De*****ing pensioners

Telkom is *****sters and are de*****ing pensioners. In 2019 the cables were stollen our line was constantly off after many complaints, We went to the Telkom shop at Cradlestone mall. The Manager Rebecca Nyathi assisted us because we were livid , She axplained that they will not replace the cables because there are too many cable theft . She will organize a wireless phone for my mother but she will give her a new number . The old number *** will not be in use because it was off for more than 3 months which was a prepaid airtime phone. From February this year we recieve a statement from Telkom with two numbers . I went to Creadlestone the guy assisted me with REF ***3 said I will be contacted whitnin 73 hours be picked up that number was activated in January 2023. Why couldn't that number be given back to my mom in 2019 and now suddenly in 2023 it's active under her name? Surely the new owners have their own details. I phoned customercare today and no one want to take responsibility, well my mom is a pensioner and will not pay for a number that she is not abusing. Telkom go find the newowners why was their details not captured. I'm still waiting for Cradlestone to contact me they gave me a new ref ***1 this morning . According to customer care there is nothing they can do because Rebecca never cancelled the old number but she refused to give my mother her number back. Please fix your mess and stop de*****ing pensioners
