Default on my name - Paid up Account

<p>Hi There,</p> <p> </p> <p>My ADSL account was on a prepaid payment option (No debit order).</p> <p>Unaware of this, the account accumulated and fell in arrears. Telkom called to advise the account is outstanding as of Dec 2016. Full payment for the outstanding amount was paid up in the month of Feb 2017. I recieved a statment to advise the account is now on zero balance and deposit refund was paid put to me.</p> <p> </p> <p>I recently app**** for an MTN contract, and unfortunately it was declined due to having a Judgement/Default on my name. I then pull out a credit report from Transunion. A default with Telkom for the outstanding amount.</p> <p> </p> <p>Default Date: 2016/12/15 Source: TELKOM</p> <p>Contact Name: TELKOM Default Type: Bad Debt Written Off</p> <p> </p> <p>I Called Telkom to remove and update the status. I;ve been give the run around from department to department. Poor service from Telkom yet again.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please assist.</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards,</p>
