Declining contract application

I made an online application for an iPad mini retina over the weekend for R199/month. After phoning today to check on the status of the application, I was told it was declined. I was not even contacted by Telkom. <br> <br> The reason given was that my bank account was not being used for longer than three months. After banking with Absa for almost 20 years, I decided to switch to FNB in April. However this reason was not accepted by Telkom. I have never been treated so poorly by a company that I wanted to give money. <br> <br> I have contracts that I pay more than R200 for, I have an overdraft, credit card and had vehicle finance in the past. However Telkom won't give me a R199 tablet contract. <br> <br> How can people do business like this. <br> <br> <br>
