Declined Credit vetting for no reason

I app**** yesterday for a contract with Telkom for a new mobile phone with their freeme package. All they could do is send me a pathetic email telling me my application was declined in the pre-credit vetting process. Whatever "pre" means. And no reason why. Have to phone and ask their department to which they tell me no they don't have the number so I have to drive all the way to the nearest Telkom store (15 minutes away) to get THEM to call the Credit vetting department so they can give me an answer about why I was declined. What the stuff?
