Declined contract because of "credit vetting" even with good credit

I've been a long long time telkom user...since the LTE 5gb days...

I've been working for more than 2 years now, and have a good, healthy credit score; yet I was declined for a contract with them for R170pm...with no reason given. I used to pay more for the telkom LTE contracts...

There's no way to appeal this, no way to even find out how to fix it...nada

All I was told by the phone operator was to open a clothing account and try again, but I have good credit already.
