My father, Mr. L.P.A. Haskins, passed away on the 15th July 2022. I sent an email to Telkom to this effect as soon as I received his Death Certificate on the 21st July, 2022.

That is the message that was sent to Telkom. I tried calling the Call Centre to no avail. They do not answer their calls. I think they are making personal calls on Telkom's time. I am an hour away from the Nearest Telkom Centre and this was the only way I could let them know.

Telkom keeps on taking money off from a DEAD MAN'S ACCOUNT which I have closed. Now I will have to go into Nedbank to make sure it's reversed.

Wake up your illiterate, imbecile staff. They do not read the emails sent to them. They should not be dealing in Accounts at all.

I am not responsible for my father's Accounts. But had the decency to let them know via email.

Maybe someone with a little bit of brain between their ears will read this and eventually cancel this account and write off what they have been billing my father since then.

It's absolutely disgusting. My father signed a Contract with them years ago. Last year they just took off an amount of about R2000.00 and said that their fees went up to R200 per month and this was back-dated. Is a CONTRACT THAT IS SIGNED NOT LEGALLY BINDING. Or is that only to Telkom's Advantage?

CANCEL THIS ACCOUNT WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT! AND WRITE OFF ALL THE ACCOUNTS YOU HAVE BEEN SENDING A DEAD MAN
