debt that should be cancelled by Telkom years ago. Telkom is giving me a bad name against my credit

i made an application yesterday for the R199 uncapped wifi deal. which was declined as the agent called and informed me it has been declined due to me still owing a cell phone contract which was taken 5 years ago. i was facing financial difficulties and went under debt review at the time. my name has been cleared in 2019 i called all 3 beaurea have my name cleared no one told me i still owe Telkom since yesterday 20/01/2021. telkom has not cleared my name i have called the billing dept they are absolutely useless and are persisitant that i need to pay. this is so unfair as all my other accounts have already been prescribed why not Telkom 1. no one called me in this 5 years 2. the debt should have been prescribed as it is over 3 years
