Debt collection on cancelled Telkom contract
My mother terminated her Telkom contract on 10 October 2017. In February 2018 she received communication that her account was handed over for debt collection. After three months struggle she received communication that the matter was resolved. Now in 2019 she wanted conclude a contract only to discover that there is in actual fact a Default Judgment against her for R2263 despite her cancelling the contract and having proof of said!

31 Oct 2019, 08:44To add insult to injury, a lady at the Irene Telkom branch told me there is no one in Telkom who will be able to assist me and I should accept that human error occur.
