Debitorder deducted but line still suspended afterwards

09 Dec 2025, 13:48My debitorder did'nt go off on the date it was suppose to.Telkom deducted it then on the 29th,it shows on their system,but like they say it was deducted by debt collectors and not by them.I have called since yesterday.This morning I was told the matter was escalated and that the line will be reinstated within 5 to 24 hours.How come I should wait,when they can see the payment was received.I don't have any business with debt collectors,as my payment reflect Telkom.I called again now,spoke to someone who said the manager will call me back.I'm waiting and I was told that the manager will call back as soon as I drop the call.The service from Telkom is unsatisfactory to say the least.When your debitorder fails,they charge you an extra R205 but you must wait for your line to be reinstated for 7days,this is **** man..
