Debiting on 13th of the month, while debit order date is 25th

Against our better judgement we decided to renew our Telkom Futurhood Contract. We then made the worst decision ever and added Debit Order detail after struggling with Telkom for 24 months with regard to debiting a closed account (Note that this account was paid by EFT which is a legal form of payment in South Africa which I cannot be denied. )

Now after agreeing for Telkom to take a debit order on the 25th of each month (with very good reason because that is when my salary is paid into my account). Then out of nowhere Telkom this month decided to try and take a debit order yesterday on the 13th? Which needless to say bounce and lead us to incur a R 150 return debit penalty from Absa. Then this morning Telkom tried to take the debit order twice, which translates into another R300 penalties from Absa.

So now here is my question to you Telkom, how can you, after me agreeing to a debit order on the 25th of each month, decide to continuously process a debit order on my account????? There is no way that this can be a legal practice. You now owe me R450 in penalties.

PLEASE STOP DEBITING THE ABSA ACCOUNT, IT IS NOT THE 25th, THIS IS NOT WHAT I AGREED TO!

CALL ME ASAP, I HAVE SPENT ENOUGH TIME HOLDING ON YOUR 081 180 LINE.

This morning a lovely lady named Mandisa Khumbusa (14/10/2017; 7:03 am) helped us and took the time to listen and explain. Ref # for one of our previous calls ********** 8.

Just one last thing, our account currently reflects R171.88 outstanding which is currently in dispute since this is due to Telkom continuing to debit a closed account. Yet, you keep trying to take a R906 on debit order on a day not agreed to.
