Debiting account after cancellation

Telkom’s ADSL service was terrible so we cancelled in October, effective end November. We received confirmation of the request and followed up four times via call, email, and Facebook messenger. Our account was still debited after this despite the fact that we have not used the services at all in December. This money has been debited *******ly and constitutes theft. It is impossible to get help from Telkom and I am very, very happy with our move to Vumatel and RocketNet. RocketNet has amazing customer service. I am beyond disappointed in Telkom and will be sure to protect as many people as I can reach from the ******* provider that is Telkom.

Reviewer Update
Hello, Thank you. We received the final invoice in February and were told it’s up to us to provide bank statements and evidence of being debited. This is something I am currently discussing with one of the producers of Carte Blanche along with several others who have had issues with Telkom. Under no circumstances should I have to provide bank statements, especially after being debited *******ly. My brother is an attorney and has advised that I find a more suitable method of getting my money back. I am on honeymoon at present and have not had time with our wedding to continue exchanges with Telkom. It would be suitable if Telkom could check its own systems for what I was charged after November and refund it directly. I am currently investigating my credit rating after reversing an ******* charge from Telkom. I was informed by the bank that this would affect my credit rating after Telkom tried again to debit that amount. Should there be a change in my credit score, I will be taking legal action through my brother’s firm at no cost with several other enraged clients. I anticipate that all will be corrected soon. Regards, Kyla
