Debit orders not running on the end of the month and Line suspension!!!!
Dear Sirs
My husband has a mobile contract with Telkom, which we use for business purposes. Our debit order date has always been at the end of the month. January our debit order (R915.00) boucned, which was our mistake, but we rectified it and we made an EFT payment for the amount that was invoiced. On 15 February Telkom ran a debit order for an amount of R2039.21 (apparently arrears) and the installment that was only due at the end of February???? We contacted Telkom and asked to speak to a manager, to date no one has contacted my husband, but his line was reinstated. On 1 March Telkom debited an amount of R562.11 successfully. On Sunday, 25 March another debit order for an amount of R1706.19 was run.
We called in this morning and now there is R562.10 in arrears again and the amount due for END of the month they also tried to debit, why did Telkom not debit the full amount on 1 March? According to the call centre again the the billing department can run debit orders when ever they feel the need, she could not explain why the full amount was not debited on the 1st of March. No manager available once again. She also said Telkom charges an amount of R200 each time a debit order does not go off successfully, and OUR bank also charges us R147 for each failed debit order. How should we know when the billing department will feel like running a debit order? Our date, once again is at the END of the month! Now the line is suspended again. Can someone please contact us urgently to rectify the situation ASAP !!! What a terrible service provider, does what they want, doesnt call or contact you to inform you, the invoice amounts are not the same than the debit orders, we cannot keep track anymore ! We due for an upgrade but I wonder if we should move our business elsewhere rather !
