I had a cellphone contract with Telkom which I believe ended last year. I was paying R377 p/m. I then moved to Vodacom when I upgraded because I could not use my sim card at all. I never had any network. I have recently found out that Telkom has been debiting R57.50 p/m from my bank acc. When I called them they told me that I did not cancel the contract so it automatically went to a month to month arrangement. I then requested proof that they had contacted me prior to the main contract lapsing as required by the Act. The person I spoke to was Oratile Chupo who said it did not matter I must have known that it would continue if I do not fill their form to cancel.<br> I asked for an email to escalate the query and she gave me an email that came back as undelivered [Email Removed] When I called again to confirm this email address I was advised to come to Helopeter there's no email for complaints. She also promised to send me the cancellation form but I never received it. I plead with you to get them to cancel this account it is costing me more when the debit is returned. I also request full refund as I was never communicated to prior to the expiry of the contract.
