Debit order not stopped 2 months after cancelling
I called Telkom early in Jan 2016 to cancel my Telkom Mobile data contract at the end of Jan 2016, when the 24-month period ended. I obtained and completed the cancellation form and sent it to [Email Removed] on 10 Jan 2016. The debit order has not been stopped and I still continue to pay Telkom for non-service (as usual). I submitted a stop order at my bank, and reversed the transaction (I had to pay R50 for this at the bank), but the next month Telkom used a different debit order code and subtracted double the usual amount.

I called Telkom \customer care\" (081180) and used the dysfunctional chat line several times, and several excuses-and-promises-to-follow-up later nothing happened. One popular excuse is Telkom tried to reach me to cancel the contract, but I was not available. Please! I want the contract to be cancelled, Telkom does not have to contact me again.

Can someone competent at Telkom please stop my account ASAP and pay back the money for Feb and Mar?
I haven't used any data as the device (Samsung Tablet) stopped working unsurprisingly after 24 months.
"
