Dear Telkom

Telkom as a business is exclusionary in Nature because it fails to Cater to the needs of everyone and only Caters to people who work in Corporate. My experience with telkom as a business has been absolutely terrible and this is due to a few reasons (1) As a student who does part time jobs I wasn't able to get a Contract with telkom because they wanted 6months bank statement and even when I provided that I wasn't able to get a Contract because the person from telkom based on their own judgment didn't believe I could be able to maintain it . (2) Telkom provides unreasonable expectations from everyone though yes it's a business and profit Is important , the average South African E.g ( street Vendor or tuckshop owner/Worker ) who is not in Corporate won't be able to access the very same service that telkom because though they may qualify financially because of their type of occupation , So Telkom is secondly exclusionary by a person's Occupation. 3) The only remedy I was offered was to apply online or Call the number this was and still is very disheartening because the criteria for both these options will still lead to telkom requesting the same things that the store wants so it's inevitable that I will still fail to meet the exclusionary requirements set fort by telkom .

In the end the faith , trust and loyalty that I have in telkom will be moved elsewhere because as a business it fails to provide services to a customer who is willing to pay but moreover their policies and rules don't cater to everyone
